Art, Mindfulness & Flow: Upward Together at the Wellness Benefit Fair

This morning, Upward Together had the honor of leading two heart-centered workshops at the Wellness Benefit Fair for Child Care Providers, held at The Westin in Long Beach.

Facilitated by founder Sya Warfield, the sessions guided participants through a creative journey rooted in mindfulness, self-reflection, and flow state. From mandala-making to expressive art practices, providers were invited to pause, breathe, and reconnect with their own inner calm—an often-overlooked necessity in the caregiving profession.

The room filled with color, conversation, and quiet focus as each participant tapped into their own well of creativity. As seen in the photo, the space became a sanctuary of stillness and joy, where child care providers—so often the ones giving care—were deeply cared for.
