Clay Creations & Heartfelt Connections: A Magical Upward Together Night

Last night’s Upward Together art session was pure joy—bursting with color, laughter, and imagination! Families gathered around craft tables filled with vibrant clay, pipe cleaners, and pom-poms to bring their wildest ideas to life. From rainbow towers and love hearts to a mini chef mouse with geese companions (yes, really!), every creation told a story of fun, focus, and freedom.

🌟 Why creative nights like these matter:
These kinds of low-pressure, hands-on activities aren’t just fun—they're powerful tools for building emotional literacy, calming the nervous system, and sparking connection. Through clay play and open-ended prompts, participants practiced:

  • 🧠 Mindfulness and focus

  • 👐 Self-expression through art

  • 💞 Bonding with family and community

🧁 One highlight? A blue bunny chef (complete with a fondant-style hat) stole the show—proving that even imaginary creatures can serve up delight. Nearby, a rainbow clay tower, stacked with swirls and toothpicks, reached new heights, while soft pink hearts and handwritten notes ("I ❤️ you!") melted our hearts.

Whether sculpting Baymax or spelling out names with swirly clay letters, everyone left with full hearts and hands covered in creativity.
