Upward Together Joins Wellness Benefit Fair for Child Care Providers in Long Beach

We're honored to be teaching two creative wellness workshops this Saturday, July 26th, at the Wellness Benefit Fair for Child Care Providers, held at the beautiful Westin in Long Beach. This inspiring event brings together early childhood educators, care providers, and community partners for a day of restoration, connection, and self-care—something we believe is essential for those doing such important work.

Two Workshops Designed for Restoration and Creative Expression

At Upward Together, we specialize in blending mindfulness and art to transform burnout into peace of mind. For this year’s Wellness Benefit Fair, we’ve curated two hands-on sessions to help providers pause, reflect, and reconnect with their inner calm:

Workshop 1: The Art of Letting Go – A Release Ritual in Lines & Color

A guided experience using creative expression and somatic art techniques to gently release stress, reframe emotions, and reclaim your inner peace. Participants will leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and inspired.

Workshop 2: Mindful Mandalas for Inner Balance

This interactive session invites providers to design symbolic mandalas centered on values, support systems, and intentions. Through simple shapes and color, participants will create a visual reminder of calm they can return to anytime.

Both sessions are trauma-informed, beginner-friendly, and rooted in mindfulness, offering a gentle invitation to slow down and reflect.
